Little Kippers

A new issue of 3DWorld brings with it a brand new, two part tutorial. This time I demonstrate the process for creating your own generic characters, a virtual actress of sorts, who can be quickly adjusted to generate multiple characters.

In part one we focus on modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering your character leaving the second part for rigging, facial animation and posing.

Through eight pages and over 100 minutes of video you will take your model and build a skeleton complete with a full rig, as well as adding blendshapes for facial animation.

Enjoy!
